Day 1 – A warm welcome to Naousa

We are gathering at the meeting spot in the city of Thessaloniki, ready to begin our journey toward the charming wine region of Naoussa. Along the way, we’ll get to know each other and we’ll share our expectations and past travel memories, starting to build the warm group spirit that will accompany us throughout the entire stay.
11:00 - 12:00
After about an hour and a half of travel, we arrive in the picturesque town of Naoussa, where we will first settle comfortably into our charming guesthouse. Once refreshed, we will embark on a series of explorations to discover the local culture, history, and stunning surroundings.
12:30 -13:30
It’s time for a visit to the renowned Chrysochou Winery, a family-run estate where tradition meets passion for quality. During our visit, we’ll have the chance to explore the cellars, learn about the winemaking process, and taste some of their finest selections.
14:00 - 17:00
Next stop to our wine experience is at the Kir-Yianni winery, one of the most iconic wineries in Greece. Located in the lush landscape at the foot of Mount Vermion, this modern yet historically rooted winery combines world-class winemaking with sustainability and aesthetics.
At Kir-Yianni, we’ll sit down for lunch at the estate, where local dishes are paired with their own wines.
The experience concludes some free time perhaps for a stroll among the vines or a quiet moment in the shade .
Relax or shopping?
17:00 - 19:00
Those who wish can take some time to relax and rest.
For the rest, we’ll take a stroll through the town to discover local delicacies or pick up small gifts for those waiting for us back home.
Dinner at the wine bar
19:30 - 22:00
The day concludes with a relaxing evening at an elegant wine bar in Naoussa, where we sample three local wine labels.
After the tasting, we enjoy a shared dinner at the same venue, which tastefully and warmly wraps up our first day.
